image028#MotivationMonday You have probably heard the buzz about High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) but why is it so effective? With high intensity you burn more calories per minute and burn fat more efficiently. This is awesome for busy lifestyles! More results in less time!! It also kick starts your metabolism and keeps it humming throughout the day. (Even while sitting at your desk at work) Get a quickie in each morning; lace up your running shoes and head out the door with a little HIIT session to get your day started right. Beginner: Warm up Jog 5mins 8 x 30secs sprints 1½ min jog/walk between each sprint Cool down Jog 5mins Intermediate: Warm up Jog 5mins 12 x 30secs sprints 1mins jog between each sprint Cool down Jog 5mins Advanced: Warm up Jog 5mins 12 x 45secs sprints (uphill if desired) 45 secs jog between each sprint Cool down Jog 5mins
